Dingli (Ħad-Dingli) is a village in the Western District of Malta, on high ground in the west of the island. It is known for the Dingli Cliffs, the highest point of the Maltese Islands, the nearby Buskett woodland, and a parish dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady.

Dingli lies on high ground in the west of Malta, near Rabat and Siġġiewi, above the south-western coast. It belongs to the Western District. The Dingli Cliffs drop steeply to the sea along its coastline.
History of Dingli
Dingli grew as a rural village on the high western plateau, with agriculture suited to its elevated, exposed terrain. The cliffs and the nearby Buskett woodland — planted as a hunting ground by the Order of St John near Verdala Palace — have long defined the area. The cliff-top chapel of St Mary Magdalene marks one of the highest points of the island.
